Helix ry
Helix ry is a subject organization founded in 1969 for biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, and cell and molecular biology at the University of Helsinki. Anyone studying bio sciences at the University of Helsinki can join as a member. Helix advocates the common interests of bio science students at the University of Helsinki and organises various events. Helicans can be found at Biocentre 1 Kertsi drinking coffee, seeking peer support, or sometimes even studying. The activities are announced on the website, e-mail list and Facebook.
MYY ry
Ympäristötieteiden Opiskelijat – MYY ry is a subject organization founded in 1961 for students of environmental sciences at the University of Helsinki. We offer events and activities throughout the year, from the autumn excursion to the spring wine competition and Christmas party in Karkkila. We promote the interests of our members at the university and in working life by also acting as an advocate organisation. Most of our members are students of the aquatic sciences or environmental sciences, but we also warmly welcome secondary subject students to join us.
Svenska naturvetarklubben rf (SvNK)
Svenska Naturvetarklubben rf is the Swedish-speaking subject association of natural sciences at the University of Helsinki. We arrange parties, social evenings, excursions and other pleasant events. Symbioosi ry
Symbioosi ry is a biology subject organization of the University of Helsinki. In addition to advocating and traditional student events, such as sitsit, our diverse activities also include the Åland Bird Rally, one of the largest bird rally in Finland, and the Vappushokkelo for children. GangLion is the official student organization representing the Neuroscience Master’s Program at the University of Helsinki.
